Lucky Mr. Peters
Chapter 81
“Don’t you just love my boy when he gets naked?” Aidan asked as he sat down with us.
“I’d rather have this boy here,” I laughed, putting an arm around Allejandro’s shoulders.
“Yes, well, I love Jordan to bits, but he can be a bit weird at times,” Aidan sighed.
“How so?” Allejandro asked, unable to contain his curiosity.
“He doesn’t want to talk about the two of us getting married. I hope he’ll change his mind when he’s seen the two of you and Pietro and Mauricio tying the knot,” Aidan complained.
“You do know that marriage isn’t for everyone, especially at his age, right? Even among heterosexuals, there are couples just shacking up together without ever getting married,” I smiled.
“Yes, but I’m a bit old fashioned and I would like to actually be married to the boy I love,” Aidan grinned.
“We’re marrying not just for love, but also for more practical reasons,” I commented.
“I’m well aware of that. Of course, I don’t have a fortune that the state could take a big chunk of if I croak,” Aidan chuckled.
We talked a while longer and when we finished our coffees, Aidan suggested we’d take the next one out on the patio, seeing as how the weather was quite nice. I couldn’t fault his suggestion and hearing the cries of joy coming from the pool made for a nice ambiance.
It wasn’t long before the first of the boys, Carlos and Damarion, came out of the pool. They walked over, toweled themselves dry and then, contrary to their previous behavior, dropped the towels and lay themselves down on available sunbeds. It was clear from their limp little dicks that they weren’t trying to be provocative, they just weren’t ready yet to go into the house. I had to snicker when a few of the other boys started to follow the example of my newly minted sons, though some preferred to keep their towel tied around their waist. Slowly but surely the sunbeds started to fill up and I was happy I’d made sure there were plenty of sunbeds around.
“What’s keeping Jordan and Paolo?” I could hear Aidan mumble.
“They probably have more stamina than the rest,” I replied softly.
Just moments later, Pietro put his head out one of the kitchen windows to let us know that lunch was almost ready. It caused the boys to scramble from their sunbeds and I watched as they began picking out their clothes and getting themselves dressed. Turning my attention away from them, I could just see Jordan’s bare butt as he disappeared into the house he shared with Aidan and Paolo running over to us, covering his crotch with both hands. He didn’t even take the time to towel himself dry, but went directly inside to find his garments.
“I guess he got a bit excited by what he saw,” Allejandro snickered.
“I know the sentiment,” Aidan laughed, assuring me there were no hard feelings on his side.
After lunch we had a rather quiet afternoon, some of the boys were down in the game room, others were out on the tennis court at the end of the garden. Allejandro, Aidan and I spent the time outside on the patio as the weather was really quite good. We talked about everyday things, nothing really specific or out of the ordinary. At our usual time we opened a bottle of wine and simply enjoyed the good life.
By the time that Mauricio alerted us about dinner, the tennis boys had already returned, showered, changed and gone down to the game room. It was things as usual, with Aidan and I making for the dining room while Allejandro used the intercom to inform the boys downstairs.
During dinner, Carlos asked if I could take him and Damarion to the barber the next day to have their hair cut. It caused me to look around the table and realize that all of the boys could probably do with a visit to the barbershop. As I announced that intention, I noticed one or two sour looking faces, Roque’s being the most notable. Of course, I knew he was vain and cared about his hairdo, but I couldn’t make exceptions as that would create a bad precedent. I suggested I’d take two to four at a time, so that we’d be done with it sometime the next day.
As we left the dining room, Roque accosted me and insisted that we go to his usual barbershop. The indignant look I got when I asked him if it would make any difference which barbershop we went to told me enough. Now, I admit that I liked to stick to old habits myself and in that sense, I could understand his viewpoint. Furthermore, I was pretty sure that the other boys didn’t mind one way or the other, so I got the barbershop’s name and address and told him it would be fine.
With that little disaster averted, I joined Allejandro and Aidan on the couch as it was getting too chilly to sit out on the patio. After finishing his wine, Aidan excused himself. It was back to work for him the next day and he needed to look over some files in preparation. Some 15 minutes later, Allejandro and I went down to watch a movie and as usual, the boys joined us. I didn’t see Jordan leave, but when the movie was over, he was definitely gone. The boys went up to their bedrooms while Allejandro, Russel and I had our nightcap. Yes, Russel, as it was Monday evening after all.
Tuesday morning, after breakfast, I suggested that Roque and Fernando would be the first of the boys to get their haircut. Allejandro indicated that he’d want to come also, so the four of us were ready to go out at 9 o’clock. The ride to the barbershop and finding a parking space took about 20 minutes. As we entered the shop, the first thing I noticed was the size of the place, having 8 chairs. Two clients were already there and having their hair cut or their beards shaved. We were greeted by a middle-aged man, whose eyes lit up as he saw Roque with us.
“You haven’t been here for so long, what happened?” the man asked Roque.
“Our dad got arrested because he abused us, so Damarion and I have been living with Mr. Peters ever since. Last week he even adopted Damarion,” Roque replied, a slight smile on his face.
“So, where is the little tike?” the man questioned.
“He’s still at home. I didn’t want to bring the whole herd all at once,” I said.
“I take it that you’re Mr. Peters, my name is Rafa, pleased to meet you,” the man introduced himself. “And what herd are you talking about?”
“Well, next to these three, I’ve got 12 more boys that will all need to have a haircut,” I laughed.
“You’re kidding me, right?” Rafa asked.
“No, he isn’t,” Roque laughed. “Do you think you can squeeze all of us in today?”
“It’s a slow day, so I’m sure we can. Please, find yourselves a chair and we can get going,” Rafa replied, gesturing to the six empty chairs. “That includes you, Mr. Peters,” he said as he saw me holding back.
“Yes, Rudee, you definitely need a haircut, too,” Allejandro snickered.
I gave in and took a chair next to Allejandro, with Roque and Fernando also taking adjoining seats. I could see Rafa walking to a door at the back of the shop and within seconds three more guys appeared, all in their mid-twenties. Of course, I was familiar with the bias that all male hairdressers are gay, but seeing Rafa and his boys, I knew it was true in this case. I didn’t care, though, as the young man that attended to me put the obligatory barber’s gown around my neck and began to cut my hair.
Allejandro, Fernando and I were done in about 20 minutes, but Rafa was still working on Roque. We were asked to sit on one of the couches and offered a cup of coffee as Roque’s hairdo was still being worked on. I had to smile as it took another 10 minutes before Rafa was done perfecting Roque’s coif to his liking. Being done, I paid Rafa for the work and told him to expect me back in 40 minutes with the next batch of boys. As we walked back to the car, I called Pietro and told him to make sure four more boys would be ready to go when I returned.
When papi left with Allejandro, Fernando and Roque, I quickly called the photographer and asked if the pictures we’d ordered were ready. I was a bit disappointed to hear that it would still take about another hour or so as I realized Allejandro would probably be back by then. We’d have no choice but to fill him in about our present for papi’s birthday if we were to get it today.
The photographer promised to call one of us as soon as all the photographs were ready. Mauricio would then take the twins out to go and collect them.
The call had just come in when Pietro came down to tell us that Rudee had also called him to make sure four more of us were ready to leave when he got back. We had a quick conference and decided that those would be me, Hugo, Russel and John. As soon as we were off, Mauricio, Felipe and Juanito would go out to get the photographs, making sure they’d be back in time for papi’s return.
We also agreed that it was inevitable we had to let Allejandro in on our scheme. Carlos was adamant that he could persuade Allejandro to keep our secret and it was the fire in his eyes that convinced us. A bunch of us had to smile as he assured us of Allejandro’s silence. He really could be a fierce little guy if he’d set his mind on something. I was quite content to not be anywhere near when he had his talk with Allejandro.
I was actually slightly surprised, when I saw Rafael, Hugo, John and Russel waiting in the courtyard as I drove in through the car gate. After my three passengers left the vehicle and were replaced by the four new boys, I turned the car around and rode back out. I really wanted to get this over with and was back at the barbershop within 20 minutes. I swear I could see Rafa’s eyes twinkling as he saw Hugo’s blond hair and he immediately offered the boy a chair. The others were quickly also guided to chairs as I took a seat on a couch and was offered another cup of coffee. I checked my wristwatch and realized that I’d probably have to bring the remaining 8 boys over after we’d had lunch.
When this group were all trimmed and ready, I informed Rafa about my intentions as I settled the bill. He told me it wouldn’t be a problem and he’d see me later. As I drove back home, I could hear the boys whisper in the back of the car and saw them smile in the rearview mirror. It was clear that something was up, but they were definitely keeping it to themselves.
After returning home and taking a moment to reflect on my passengers odd behavior in the car, I asked Allejandro if he had noticed any strange or unexplainable conduct among the boys. Much to my surprise, he said he couldn’t tell me as he’d sworn to the boys to keep it a secret. Of course, not wanting to get him into any trouble with the rest of the crew, I decided to let it rest. I assumed that Allejandro was okay with whatever the surprise was, and that was good enough for me.
As soon as lunch was over, I took Jordan, Julio, Paolo and Bernardo over to Rafa’s, reminding the remaining four boys to be ready when we got back. I could tell Carlos wasn’t particularly happy about it, as the boy truly loved running around half naked all the time. When I did get back, though, he was ready and waiting, along with Damarion and the twins.
“Saving the best for last, huh?” Rafa asked as I walked into his shop with the final four.
I couldn’t help but smile when I saw the boys’ faces light up with Rafa’s comment. They definitely enjoyed the compliment and Carlos was quick to point out that his last name was Peters also.
“Well, I guess you’re with me then young Mr. Peters,” Rafa quipped, giving me a swift wink.
When we were all done, a little over 20 minutes later, Rafa categorically refused to accept any more money from me. Instead, he gave me a hug, and told me that me and my boys would always be welcome at his establishment. He then went on to hug the four boys, whispering something to them as he did. Despite their natural olive-toned complexion, it was quite clear that all four of them blushed as we got ready to go back home.
As soon as we were in the car, Carlos couldn’t hold himself back. “He said I was the luckiest boy in the world with a papi like you!” he exclaimed, a smile almost splitting his face in half.
“He told me I was the luckiest man alive to have a son like you,” I lied, but fully aware of the effect it would have on the youngster. If it hadn’t been for his seatbelt, he’d probably have hit the roof of the car from bouncing.
“He told me I’m even prettier than Roque,” Damarion grinned, obviously quite content with his compliment.
I looked at Felipe and Juanito, but both of them were shaking their heads, their faces flushing an even deeper red. I wasn’t going to push and got the car started for our drive back home.
When I finally slumped down on the couch, next to Allejandro, I realized how soccer moms must sometimes feel. I guess my fiancé noticed as he almost immediately offered to get me a much-needed glass of wine. I happily accepted, and when he got back, told him all about the final visit to Rafa’s shop.
“He’s definitely gay and I bet some of the other guys there are too,” Allejandro laughed. “Did you see the one that was doing me? I could swear he had a hard-on.”
“Well, that’s quite understandable,” I smiled, “You have that effect on me, too.”
We both laughed and were still snickering when Aidan walked in. Of course, he wanted to know what was going on and after we told him, he quickly called for Jordan to come up and show him his new haircut.
“Dang, you have to give me the address to that place. I could use a proper haircut, too,” Aidan said as Jordan went back downstairs.
“I doubt Jordan will let you go there alone. I think he’ll want to make sure that Rafa or the other guys don’t make a pass at you,” Allejandro giggled.
What followed was a rather animated discussion about Rafa and his boys and our thoughts about male hairdressers in general. We all agreed that there was a stereotype, but in Rafa’s case it was definitely a valid one. We were still joking about it when Pietro came in to tell us that dinner was almost ready.
I just had to look around the table and admire the job that Rafa and his guys had done. I was happy and my boys all looked better than they did the day before. We had a relaxed evening, watching a movie and enjoying our snacks and drinks.
I have to admit that I was a little anxious all Wednesday. It was shortly after lunch that Mauricio informed me that he and Pietro would be doing a barbeque for dinner the next evening. We’d use paper plates as they weren’t sure we’d have enough for all the guests if we used our regular ones.
“What do you mean with all the guests?” I asked.
“Well, there’s Pietro’s uncle and aunt, Julia and Ronaldo, Bernardo’s mom and I’m sure a few other folks will turn up,” he laughed.
Right then and there, I wanted to dig a hole in the ground and hide until all the fuss would be over. Of course, that wasn’t to be and I had to accept the fact I’d be the next ‘birthday boy’.
“It’ll be alright, Rudee,” Allejandro snickered as he noticed my distress.
“That’s easy for you to say,” I retorted, unable to come up with a different response.
As the day wore on, my anxiety became even worse and at some point, I even considered fleeing the country. But then I looked at Allejandro and realized how lucky I was to have him and the other boys around. Of course, I’d also taken on the responsibility of raising two boys that were now, officially, my sons and there was no way I could let them down.
When Aidan returned from work, he gleefully told me he’d taken the next day off, to keep a close eye on me. Telling him I already had a babysitter, while pointing at Allejandro, he began to laugh and said that boyfriends didn’t count. That started the usual banter and the distraction definitely paid off, calming me down. We had the usual evening, watching a movie and me, Allejandro and John having a nightcap afterwards.
I’d just fallen asleep when I was woken by a ruckus outside our bedroom door. I looked at the alarm clock and saw it was a minute past midnight as all the boys came walking in. I felt completely overwhelmed when they started singing ‘Happy Birthday’ and could see even Mauricio, Pietro, Aidan and Jordan had joined in the spectacle. When the song was finished, I could hear them laughing as they filed out of the room, happy for having accomplished their first surprise.
I could tell from the look on Allejandro’s face that he’d not been privy to this one, but John’s merriment told me that he definitely had been. Luckily, it didn’t take long for the house to get quiet again and for me to resume my much-needed bedrest.
Waking up on Thursday morning, I found only Allejandro in bed with me, a smile plastered on his face.
“Where’s John?” I asked, feeling a bit confused.
“He’s already gone down. Carlos and Damarion will be here any minute now with our breakfast,” he snickered.
“What?” I questioned with surprise.
“We’re getting breakfast in bed, silly man,” Allejandro giggled.
As I was still processing what he’d just said, the bedroom door opened, and Carlos and Damarion walked in carrying trays. They were struggling a bit but managed to put them down on the nightstands before both of them jumped on top of me. I got hugs and kisses, as did Allejandro and then the two rascals were off again, closing the door behind them.
The tray on my side held my favorite breakfast meal of fried eggs on toast, ham and cheese sandwiches and, more importantly, a steaming hot cup of coffee. This, of course, was a surprise I could get used to, especially as afterwards, Allejandro took it upon himself to ride my hard-on.
After taking a shower and getting ourselves dressed, it was time to face the music and make our way downstairs. I wasn’t really surprised to see the whole herd waiting for us in the living room and one by one, they came to congratulate me. Then Carlos and Damarion handed me a large rectangular package, stating it was a present from all of them. It was almost like they were all holding their breaths as I removed the giftwrap to see what they’d given me.
I couldn’t help but burst into tears of joy and laughter as I saw a picture with a row of the cutest butts and smiling faces. I had no idea how they pulled off something like this, but I heard them cheer and felt Allejandro putting his arm around my shoulders.
“We’d better hide this, as I don’t think we can show it to any of our visitors,” I whispered softly.
My comment was greeted with a lot of giggles and another round of hugs and kisses. When it was Carlos’ turn, I just grabbed the boy and held him as tight as I could. After Allejandro, he was the one boy I loved the most and getting a good feel of his near naked body always made me happy.
When I expressed my need for another cup of coffee, Pietro magically made it appear. The boys slowly vanished, going down the stairs one by one and Allejandro took the huge picture frame and told me he’d hide it in our bedroom.
“I wouldn’t have wanted to miss this for the world,” Aidan snickered as he took a sip of his coffee. “I have a slightly smaller version, and it’s already up on the wall of our bedroom.”
“You’re kidding me, right?” I asked.
“Nope, Pietro and Mauricio have one and each of the boys have a smaller one, too,” he laughed.
“God, I can’t believe they were all showing off their little butts,” I sighed.
“And cute little butts at that,” Aidan commented. “They had a lot of fun in the dressing room.”
He then continued to tell me in great detail what had happened on Saturday and I understood why the boys had wanted me and Allejandro out of the way. I could only imagine the amount of preparation that they had to have put into it. Not to mention the efforts it must have taken to get the adults to go along with it. Aidan even talked about his own objections when Allejandro got back and the three of us actually got a good laugh out of it.
Then Mauricio came in and announced that we’d have lunch earlier than usual. It would make sure that we were all ready for the arrival of the first guests.
“Do you know who all is coming?” I asked.
“Well, your future mother-in-law for one,” he smiled, taking both me and Allejandro by surprise.
“My mom is coming?” Allejandro questioned, and I could see his face getting rather flushed.
“Yes. I think Julia somehow managed to get in touch with her and convince her,” Mauricio commented.
When I looked at Allejandro again, I could see tears running down his cheeks and I just had to grab and hug him. I knew how much it meant to him, seeing his mother again, and I was definitely grateful to Julia for her endeavor. We’d discussed the possibility of inviting her to the wedding, but I hadn’t expected a visit on my own birthday.
It took a few minutes for Allejandro to regain his composure, but he did eventually.
“I’ll go and pick her up right after we’ve finished lunch,” Mauricio had said, “and I’ll take her back in time, so your father won’t get suspicious.”
I quickly realized that both me and my fiancé had been kept in the dark more than I had expected when the doorbell rang and I saw Julia and Ronaldo walking in. As usual, the boys in the game room knew what was going on and were up and about in a flash, rubbing Julia’s belly at every opportunity. I couldn’t help but laugh at their antics as our first guests congratulated me on my birthday.
Of course, Pietro and Mauricio had been involved, as I saw they’d added chairs around the table for Julia and her husband to share lunch with us. It was a wave of happiness that swelled over me as I watched my true family enjoy their lunch, talking and laughing. I guess Allejandro noticed as I felt him put his arm around me.
When we had our fill, the boys went back down to the game room, while the rest of us settled down in the living room with some drinks. There had to have been a conspiracy as just 15 minutes later, Pietro’s aunt and uncle made their appearance. What I hadn’t expected, though, was them bringing along their 12-year-old son, Emilio.
